A sensory processing disorder is a neurological condition which can mean that a person’s nervous system has difficulty taking in, making sense and processing sensory information which can impact in some or all areas of a person’s daily living activities.

Sensory processing disorder is often misunderstood or not recognised. Some common signs are: over/under sensitive to touch or noise; always ‘on the go’; slow and lethargic; difficulty completing everyday tasks; clumsy; poor motor skills; distractible; problems with eating or sleeping..
